Our Business

Tink's was established in 2007 serving Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. We are a full service bead store, offering czech glass, gem stone beads and cabachons, findings, wire, sheet metals, glass rods for lampworkers and jumprings along with finished jewelry. We can custom make your beaded jewelry as well as fabricate your special design in Sterling silver. We do almost all repairs on your beaded and precious jewelry. We work with bridal parties, mothers of the bride and proms, to design a one of a kind jewelry for your very special day.

 You can learn to bead, stitch, wire wrap and fabricate, soldier, carve wax and cast your lost wax creations in our fully equiped studio. You can also learn to work with glass.

 If you already know how and just need a place to work, lab space is available for you.

Who We Are

Deb was an art major and  continues to study the art of jewelry making with some of the industries top names, such as Alan Revere, Michael Boyd, Preston Ruthers and countless others. Deb works mostly with some form of metal, but you will almost always find a bead attached some where. She has found a passion in teaching the art of fabricating jewelry in all forms. She and her staff are always happy and willing to help you.

Sue Ripsch is the instructure for the chain maille. Very patient and knowledgeable, Sue is published in several magazines and has her own book published. "Classic Chain Mail".
